SKG Radiology Mt Lawley

Take your life in your hands here. Be prepared for a lot of petty rules in reception, and for sniggering while undergoing treatment. I was lumbered with a student (didn't ask if I wanted a student to be present, but she needed to do her sniggering elsewhere) The only good thing was the nurse from the baby boomer era. Also they don't run on time, remember if buying parking. The adage 'you get what you pay for' doesn't apply here. Unprofessional and outdated compared to other radiology clinics.

The one star is because of the receptionist who was very rude.I have a young baby and 2 other kids and had back to back appointments today. I got to SKG just on time but didn’t realise it was inside the hospital, so it took me 10 mins to park and get through the doors at SKG. I tried to call but the call went through to the call centre and I had to hurry to get in rather than wait on hold and go through the phone options. I had to wait to be served by the receptionist for 5 minutes. She was then annoyed at me and said you know you’re 15 minutes late and you should have called and said she wasn’t sure if they would now see me. She was very rude about it. She didn’t take into account I had to wait 5 minutes for her. She was so patronising and rude and if I had the time to make another appointment elsewhere, I would have.The sonographer and other receptionist on the other hand were both lovely.

I would like to thank the staff at the SKG Mt Lawley for their care and understanding. In particular Nurse Helen who was most reassuring and helpful. I was suffering a lot of pain from a sciatic nerve problem and could not complete the procedure the first time. They rebooked me for the same procedure 4 days later. This time I was filled with pain killers and completed the procedure I am relieved.

Agree with other reviews that you need to make sure to have a few hours spare just in case. Seen lots of people come and leave after me. Waiting here needing the toilet.Changed to 4 stars (was 2 star) because of the guy doing the injectionss ect.

Staff were professional and very friendly. Procedure was explained thoroughly and staff were very concerned with patient well being.Particular thanks to Diana who looked after me extremely well - felt very comfortable and at ease.Reception staff Sharon and Sarah were great front office staff.Thank you☺

I was due to have a biopsy at SKG as an in-patient at SJOG Mt Lawley. From start to finish, the care from SKG was outstanding. I had an issue with the hospital in relation to admission, and nurse Diana helped me to sort it. She could have easily have said, Not my problem"

I had FNA procedure at the SKG Mount Lawley and everyone was so friendly and kind. All the nurses were so nice to me and worried how I was feeling. Beautiful Human beings.Thank you so much! I highly recommend.

First time I went to here for an xray I had an appointment but still had to wait over 1.15hrs then I got charged twice on my card and it took 3weeks to get the money back. 2nd time I took my son here for an xray and we were promised the xrays would be faxed over to doctors in an hour. Then weren't! Pointless trip to doctors with a tired and hungry toddler.

Appointment on time, clean, nice staff and excellent radiologist doing my ultrasound, explained everything and was very experienced and friendly
